BROOKINGS, S.D. – South Dakota State senior middle blocker Amy Anderson needed five block assist on Saturday to surpass the SDSU record of 346, and she got in Game 2 when she teamed up with Annie Adams on a block that gave the Jackrabbits a 26-19 lead.

Anderson finished the night with seven block assists for a career total of 349, passing Kim Bostrom (345 block assists from 2001-04) and Sarah Biggerstaff, (346 block assists from 2001-04) who was one of the 628 fans in attendance, for the record.

Along with her match-high seven block assists, Anderson added a solo block and 11 kills in 21 attempts with just three errors for a .381 hitting percentage.

Kristina Martin added a match-high 14 kills for the Jacks, who push their winning streak to 13 in a row and improve their record to 15-3 and a perfect 6-0 in The Summit League in the process.
