What a week!

Well, week and a half, anyway--this was one of the best 10-day stretches in SDSU sports history.

Let's take a look:

November 9:
  • SDSU wins a share of the Summit League volleyball title by defeating Centenary.
  • The women's basketball team opens the season with a win over Arkansas State.
November 10:
  • The football team wins going away against Southern Utah.
  • The volleyball team clinches the outright regular-season Summit League title by sweeping Oral Roberts out of Frost Arena.
November 11:
  • The women's basketball team wins a double-overtime game over UC-Riverside.
November 12:
  • The men's basketball team opens with a win over Mary.
November 14:
  • Fall signing day--the women's basketball team inks three recruits.
November 15:
  • The women's basketball team wins their first road test against the Oregon Ducks.
  • Coach Palileo is named Summit League women's volleyball coach of the year, four Jackrabbits make the all-conference team.
November 16:
  • Wrestling signs two recruits.
  • The volleyball team gets past Western Illinois in the Summit League tournament.
November 17:
  • The Dykhouse Student-Athlete Center is announced with $6 million in launch donations, $5 million from T. Denny Sanford and $1 million from the Dykhouse family.
  • The football team defeats NDSU to win the Dakota Marker and the Great West Football Conference championship.
  • The volleyball team wins the Summit League tournament and the automatic bid to the NCAA Women's Volleyball Tournament.
November 18:
  • The women's basketball team dominates Missouri for their fourth victory.

Ten days that will be forever remembered in SDSU Jackrabbits sports history.
